B&C Speakers - 10NW64 8 Ohm Push Buttons

Designed for high-performance two-way systems or compact bass/midrange applications, the 10NW64 8 Ohm from B&C Speakers is a strategic choice. Its 10-inch format conceals a serious, well-thought-out mechanism that offers power, precision and durability, even under intensive use.

This transducer has a 64 mm copper coil wound on a fibreglass support, capable of handling 300 W continuously and 600 W in programme. The whole unit is mounted in a compact, powerful neodymium magnet motor, keeping the weight down to a very reasonable 2.95 kg without compromising power handling. Its 6 mm Xmax ensures good travel, for dynamic range and control at the bottom end of the spectrum.

Its frequency response of 60 Hz to 2,500 Hz comfortably covers the bass and low-midrange registers, with a sensitivity of 96 dB, ideal for use as a front-mount, monitor or portable system. It also incorporates a copper shorting cap that improves high-frequency extension while reducing distortion.

Its TWP-treated paper diaphragm is waterproofed on both sides, making it a reliable ally for outdoor use or damp environments. The double-roller suspension, aluminium basket and robust mechanical structure complete the package, ensuring both longevity and precision of operation.

With a recommended volume of around 26 dm³, this loudspeaker integrates easily into well-tuned bass-reflex cabinets, particularly around 59 Hz, and is ideally suited to compact but powerful systems.
