B&C Speakers - 10NW76 4 Ohm

The 10NW76 4 Ohm from B&C Speakers is aimed at professionals looking for a high-performance 10" capable of handling high power levels while remaining lightweight, responsive and reliable. It is one of those transducers designed to handle high SPL levels without sacrificing precision or linearity.

This model features a 76 mm moving coil made of CCAW (copper-coated aluminium) wire, mounted on a fibreglass support, capable of handling 400 W continuously and up to 800 W in programme mode. Its neodymium structure, both compact and powerful, not only helps to reduce the overall weight (3.8 kg), but also ensures a dense magnetic field (1.35 T) for optimum control of the diaphragm.

With a frequency response of 65 Hz to 3500 Hz, this loudspeaker effectively covers the bass and low midrange, with excellent dynamics and a sensitivity of 97.5 dB. The integrated aluminium demodulation cap helps to reduce distortion, while extending linearity at high frequencies.

Its 6.5 mm Xmax, complemented by a 7.5 mm Xvar, provides clean, controlled travel, even under heavy use. It also features a waterproof treatment on the front of the cone, making it a safe choice for outdoor applications or in variable conditions.

Its triple-roller suspension, unique spider and curvilinear cone profile provide excellent mechanical stability. It fits easily into compact loudspeakers, with a recommended volume of around 26 dm³, tuned to 65 Hz, to get the best out of its capabilities.
