B&C Speakers - 10NW76 8 Ohm

The 10NW76 8 Ohm from B&C Speakers is part of a generation of loudspeakers designed to offer the best compromise between power, lightness and control.

Designed for bass and low midrange in compact two-way speakers or more elaborate systems, this 10-inch is tailor-made for mobile or fixed professional configurations that require a high level of performance.

The transducer incorporates a 76 mm copper-coated voice coil (CCAW), mounted on a fibreglass support, capable of delivering 400 W continuously and up to 800 W in programme.

Thanks to optimised ventilation of the coil gap and a winding depth of 18.5 mm, thermal management is efficient, even at high speeds. The light but powerful neodymium ring motor generates a magnetic field of 1.35 T, for a dynamic, well-controlled response.

Its frequency response of 65 Hz to 3500 Hz provides excellent coverage of the low and midrange frequencies with a sensitivity of 96.5 dB, guaranteeing excellent efficiency even with moderately powerful amplifiers. The presence of an aluminium demodulation ring also reduces harmonic distortion and improves extension at the top end of the spectrum.

With an Xmax of 6.8 mm and an Xvar of 7 mm, the loudspeaker allows good excursion without loss of linearity. The triple-roller suspension, unique spider and curvilinear waterproof cone ensure excellent mechanical stability and increased durability, even in demanding conditions.

Compact (261 mm diameter, 119 mm deep), lightweight (3.8 kg), and designed for a 26 dm³ load tuned around 65 Hz, the 10NW76 8 Ohm is an efficient, durable and high-performance solution for many professional audio projects.
