B&C Speakers - 10NW76 8 Ohm Push Buttons

In the range of 10-inch professional transducers, the 10NW76 8 Ohm from B&C Speakers is a model designed for dynamic reproduction of the low midrange, with a design focused on robustness, linearity and ease of integration.

This loudspeaker is built around a 76mm voice coil made of CCAW (copper-coated aluminium wire), capable of handling 400W continuously and 800W in programme mode, with no loss of control. The whole unit rests on a fibreglass support, housed in a compact neodymium magnetic circuit, optimised to guarantee a stable field while limiting the overall dimensions.

The triple-roller suspension, combined with the central spider, ensures smooth movement. The useful excursion of ±6.8 mm, combined with a moderate moving mass (47 g), enables the 10NW76 to reproduce clean attacks while maintaining good transient behaviour. An aluminium demodulation ring corrects the impedance curve and reduces distortion at the top of the useful spectrum.

The cone is waterproofed on the front and mounted on a robust, well-ventilated cast aluminium bowl. The motor also incorporates ventilation around the gap, limiting thermal compression and ensuring constant operation even under heavy use. This model covers a frequency range of 65 Hz to 3500 Hz, with an average sensitivity of 96.5 dB, well balanced for a loudspeaker in this category.

Designed for load volumes of around 26 dm³, the 10NW76 fits naturally into compact loudspeakers, in two-way or cluster configurations. Its limited depth of 119 mm, its low weight of 3.8 kg and its 8 ohm impedance make it a wise choice for contractors or manufacturers wishing to combine efficiency, clarity and reliability.
