This loudspeaker is based on a classic, tried-and-tested ferrite motor, combined with a 76 mm aluminium voice coil wound inside and out on a fibreglass support. This technical combination guarantees excellent heat dissipation and solid long-term power handling. The power handling is 400 W continuous and up to 800 W programme.
Its efficiency of 98 dB ensures a good output level, even in low-amplification configurations. The 10PLB76 also boasts a high BL factor of 18.4 T-m and a Qts of 0.19, suggesting precise, fast dynamic behaviour. An aluminium demodulation ring is integrated to reduce distortion, and the aluminium basket and double-roller fabric suspension contribute to a stable response even at high levels.
