B&C Speakers - D32 8 Ohm Tweeter Driver

The D32 8 Ohm belongs to the category of high-frequency compression tweeters developed by B&C Speakers for professional PA systems, point-of-source loudspeakers and multi-way solutions requiring precise, controlled extension in the extreme treble. Its design is clearly geared towards the reproduction of very high frequencies, with high efficiency and a smooth response over its operating range.

This transducer is specifically designed to operate from 5 kHz upwards, a zone in which it excels in its ability to deliver a high level of sound while maintaining great clarity. This operating range makes it particularly well-suited to systems using a main compression driver for the midrange and treble, with the D32 providing the extension beyond, without increasing the load or complicating the acoustic design.

The 32mm voice coil combined with a lightweight diaphragm provides a fast, accurate response, giving excellent reproduction of the upper harmonics. The D32 is characterised by very high sensitivity, allowing it to be integrated into high-output systems without requiring excessive power, while maintaining tonal coherence with the other transducers in the B&C range.
