B&C Speakers - DH350 16 Ohm Driver

The B&C Speakers DH350 16 Ohm is part of the HLX series, a range that completely rethinks the classic approach to compression drivers. Developed around a new patented phase plug concept, this miniature model, measuring only 48 mm in diameter, utilizes a unique helical design to equalize the length of the acoustic paths from the center to the edges of the diaphragm.

This innovation, inspired by the spiral structure of DNA, allows for more coherent reproduction while maintaining minimal distortion, particularly in areas sensitive to intermodulation.

Despite its ultra-compact size, the DH350 is no technical compromise. It features a 36 mm aluminum voice coil and an HT polymer diaphragm, selected for its lightness, rigidity, and mechanical stability. It covers a frequency range from 1 kHz to 17 kHz with a sensitivity of 108 dB, allowing it to be integrated into compact yet high-performance systems, particularly for small-format line arrays, stage monitors, or high-density fixed speakers.

Its low magnetic power consumption, combined with an efficient neodymium driver, enables a fast and precise response while reducing the unit's overall weight to just 250 grams.

Thanks to its low crossover frequency around 1 kHz, this driver can also be easily paired with wider midrange drivers or in two-way configurations with extended crossover. A bold solution for those who wish to miniaturize their system without sacrificing sound quality.
