The RD-9 Rhythm Designer offers more sound-shaping options than the original 909 groove box, from which it was 'cloned'.
The Behringer RD-9 makes it easy to add nuances to individual drum sounds, and it also offers the legendary global emphasis function that producers loved in the original version.
From its 64-step sequencer, the RD-9 Rhythm Designer is capable of saving up to 256 custom patterns. From here, you can use Pattern mode to organise patterns into complete songs, and even programme the number of repeats for each part of the song.
For full performances, Song mode lets you string together complete songs, which is perfect for gigs or more complex arrangements.
It offers the features that made the 909 such a success, with modern workflow enhancements including USB connectivity and MIDI in/out/thru.
