The Yamaha Reface CS is a creative little monster that fits in your hand but opens up vast acoustic horizons. Its 37 responsive HQ mini-keys invite you to play with precision, and its Analog Physical Modeling engine deploys a palette of oscillators: from energetic multi-saw to modulable pulse, ring modulation or frequency modulation. Every setting becomes a doorway to new textures, with exclusive Texture and Mod controls to sculpt your timbres like clay.
To bring your ideas to life, the keyboard features a built-in effects processor with delay, phaser, chorus/flanger and distortion. Add to this the built-in phrase looper, perfect for capturing a song idea or improvising live, and you've got the ideal instrument for creative sessions. The 8-voice polyphony lets you build complex layers, and the Mono mode with portamento unleashes massive bass and cutting leads.
Nomadic by nature, the reface CS features two 2W stereo speakers with Bass Reflex, for a balanced sound even without external amplification. The connections are comprehensive: USB TO HOST, MIDI I/O, 6.35 mm jack outputs, mini-jack auxiliary input, and an expression pedal input for live volume control. Power is supplied via mains or 6 x LR14 batteries, with approximately 5 hours of autonomy.
The pack includes the SC-reface case, your ally in protecting and transporting the instrument in style. It can be worn over the shoulder or as a rucksack, clips easily to your suitcase and conceals a clever compartment for cables and adapters. Travel light!

With this new Reface series, Yamaha revisits four legendary keyboards in compact digital formats, all equipped with three-octave HQ mini-keys, 2W speakers and battery or mains power, so they can be taken anywhere. The four keyboards also feature an iOS-compatible USB 'To Host' port, a MIDI input and output on Mini DIN with included adapter, two line outputs on 6.35 mm jacks, an auxiliary line input on 3.5 mm mini-jack and a progressive damper pedal input to handle the half-pedal effect.
The Reface is complemented by the Capture application for iOS and the Soundmondo application for Google Chrome for sharing sounds.
- Based on the FS action built into the top-of-the-range MOTIF synthesiser, the HQ (High Quality) mini-keyboard ensures a precise feel and excellent response, for fast, fine and natural playing.
- Soundmondo is a free sound-sharing community that lets you discover, create and share reface sounds and set lists online, using Google Chrome from anywhere, whenever you're connected.
Based on Web MIDI technology, Soundmondo is easy to use: just connect reface to Chrome, and you're ready to create or browse.

All models (CP, YC, CS, and DX): Editable Master Tuning, Master Transpose and MIDI channel selection.
Reface CS: You can now choose between using an expression pedal or a sustain pedal.
Reface CS: You can now set the pitch bend range to 2 semitones or 12 semitones.
Reface CS and DX: A dedicated looper click sound has been added. Reface YC: You can now change the speed of the Leslie cab simply by pushing the control lever upwards. This new feature really simplifies control during a live performance, for example!
