Presentation
The Cayin Jazz 80 KT88 Silver is an integrated valve amplifier designed for hi-fi enthusiasts seeking an authentic musical experience. Its design is based on eight carefully selected and hand-fitted tubes: four KT88s in the power stage, two 12AX7s in the preamplifier stage and two 12AU7s in the phase splitters. This architecture delivers a warm, detailed sound and brings out the natural character of the tones.
Two operating modes allow the sound reproduction to be adapted to your preferences and the speakers used. Triode mode delivers 2 x 20 W into 8 ohms, offering a spacious and textured soundstage. The more energetic ultra-linear mode delivers 2 x 40 W into 8 ohms and emphasises the bass response, ensuring enhanced dynamics and compatibility with most bookshelf and floorstanding speakers. The frequency response ranges from 8 Hz to 60 kHz, ensuring accurate reproduction across the entire spectrum.
In terms of connectivity, three RCA inputs allow you to connect a CD player, network player or pre-amplified turntable. A 6.35 mm headphone output on the front panel expands its uses. Finally, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, LDAC and aptX Low Latency support, combined with the ES9018K2M DAC, ensures high-quality wireless streaming. The robust silver chassis and dual needle-style VU meters complete its elegant and functional design.
