Presentation
Bass luthier Rob Elrick is renowned for his handcrafted models. Logically out of the reach of the general public, the musician chose to join forces with Cort to create the NJS series, a range of affordable instruments benefiting from the experience of the famous luthier.
Here, the 4-string model incorporates high-quality components, including a Bartolini preamp. This is combined with a pair of Voiced Tone VTB-ST single-coil pickups. They accurately capture the natural resonance of the solid alder body and reproduce the balance of the sound with purity.
The elegant knobs include a discreet push-pull button that lets you switch from active to passive mode at the touch of a button. The deeply indented body provides easy access to the highest notes.
Finally, the MetalCraft bridge and Hipshot® Ultralite 20:1 tuning machines ensure that tuning and resonance are maintained with unrivalled precision.
