The CORT ELRICK NJS 5 White 5-string bass is the result of a partnership between renowned bass luthier Rob Elrick and the Cort brand, resulting in a high-quality model at an affordable price. With its Bartolini preamp coupled with a pair of Voiced Tone VTB-ST pickups, MetalCraft bridge and ergonomic, user-centred design, this bass is sure to make the world go round.

His hand-built models are understandably expensive, so Rob Elrick has teamed up with Cort to create the NJS5, an affordable 5-string electric bass that benefits from the renowned luthier's experience.
It features high-quality components, including a Bartolini preamp coupled with a pair of Voiced Tone VTB-ST pickups. These simple coils perfectly capture the natural resonance of the solid alder body and reproduce, without loss, the sound balance that propagates through it. Switching from active to passive mode takes just a fraction of a second, thanks to a push-pull button.
There's also a three-part bolt-on maple neck featuring 24 frets, fully accessible thanks to the scalloped body design.
Finally, the MetalCraft bridge and Hipshot® Ultralite 20:1 tuners maintain tuning and resonance with great precision.
