The Dato DUO is a two-player synthesiser that's ideal for creative children and a source of inspiration for experienced musicians and composers.

Presentation
The Dato DUO is an unusual synthesiser, born out of the desire of parents to play synthesiser with their children. It consists of two parts: the synthesiser and the step sequencer.
On the synthesiser side, you can generate and sculpt grainy, soft or aggressive sounds. With the filters, you can add effects such as bitcrusher and accent. There's even a simplified drum machine.
On the step sequencer side, record an 8-note loop using the keyboard and its visual cues (flashing LEDs). On the fly, you can randomise the sequence, speed it up or transpose it up or down.
The Dato DUO will grow with your skills because it can be integrated into a chain of synths such as the Korg Volcas, Teenage Engineering Pocket Operators or even your modular synth. This integration is made possible by the Dato DUO's MIDI inputs and outputs, as well as its SYNC inputs/outputs and a 3.5 mm headphone/line output.
