Presentation
With the DP292FNCR New'Tron Bridge pickup, DiMarzio is bringing back the twang typical of early rock and country. It's inspired by the famous Filter'Tron Gretsch, but with a healthy dose of modernity.
Under the bonnet is an Alnico V magnet. The midrange slams hard and the bass remains clean, even at high volume. It's cut out to play with a tube amp or digital modeller.
If you like your rhythms rockabilly-style, you'll love this pickup. It doesn't copy vintage sound, it reinvents it to suit today's needs.
You can combine it with the New'Tron Neck for a truly complementary duo, with a great balance between clarity and punch. Whether you're playing surf rock, blues or old-school punk, there's a place for it. And with its nickel and cream look, it's got as much face as character.
