The Alnico 5 magnets are perfectly aligned with the radius of your fingerboard, bringing the pickups closer to the strings without getting in the way. Everything has been thought of for your comfort, because DiMarzio has adopted the Relentless design dreamed up with Billy Sheehan: no more edges that scratch the hand.
The bridge pickup, which is a hair stronger than the neck, helps you balance the two without fiddling with your EQ for hours on end. Everything has been designed to work straight out of the box with plug & play. The shielded cabling limits interference. The wax potting prevents feedback, even when you turn up the volume.
