Ideal for large-scale productions, the DPA 4099 CORE+ Extreme SPL Rock Touring Kit 10 is a complete and reliable solution for recording instruments live or in the studio. Designed for sound engineers, technicians and backliners working on rock, jazz or amplified band stages, this pack includes ten 4099 CORE+ Extreme SPL microphones and all the accessories needed for smooth, versatile use.
Thanks to CORE+ technology, each microphone in the kit benefits from a wider dynamic range and a higher saturation threshold, enabling it to handle up to 152 dB SPL peak without distortion. The linear frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz ensures faithful reproduction of the sound spectrum, while the supercardioid pick-up pattern guarantees optimum isolation, reducing crosstalk between instruments. These features make the 4099 a formidable tool for drums, percussion, brass and stage amps.
Each mic features a pre-polarised condenser capsule mounted on a flexible 140mm gooseneck, offering precise and stable orientation. The redesigned internal suspension minimises handling noise and vibration, ensuring clean, consistent pick-up. The microphones are also IP58-rated, providing effective protection against moisture and dust.
This Rock Touring Kit 10 includes a full selection of clips and adaptors: D-CLIP for drums, GC4099 for guitars, VC4099 for violins or mandolins, STC4099 for brass instruments, BC4099 for double bass, CM-CLIP for percussion, P-CLIP for pianos and MS-CLIP for microphone stands. The set comes in a rigid carrying case with 10 individual microphone pockets, ensuring protection and organisation on tour.
