The DPA 4099 CORE+ Extreme SPL Rock Touring Kit 4 brings together four 4099 CORE+ Extreme SPL microphones, specially selected to meet the needs of musicians and sound engineers working on high-volume stages. Designed for drums, percussion, brass and powerful amps, this kit combines DPA's sonic precision with exceptional SPL resistance, guaranteeing faithful reproduction even in the most intense environments.
CORE+ technology is at the heart of this new generation of DPA microphones. It improves the dynamic range by 10 dB and the saturation threshold by 3 dB compared with the CORE version, while ensuring minimal distortion. Each microphone in the kit can handle up to 152dB SPL peak, while retaining the fine detail and tonal neutrality for which the brand is renowned.
Each microphone has a supercardioid pick-up pattern, ensuring excellent rejection of off-axis sound and optimum isolation between instruments.
