Electro-Harmonix's Intelligent Harmony Machine instantly creates harmonies tailored to what you're playing. It's as if you had one - or even two - guitarists playing with you at the same time, and always in perfect synchronisation.
What's more, its ability to apply harmonies ranging from the simplest to the most sophisticated will totally transform your playing.
Select your key and the pedal will generate diatonic (i.e. notes in the same key are related to each other) single-note harmonies, with a wide range of choices including two- and three-part harmonies.
You can choose between :
- 6th Down
- Perfect 4th Down
- 3rd Down
- 3rd Up
- Perfect 4th Up
- Perfect 5th Up
- Sixte high (6th Up)
- 7th Up
- High third and fifth (3rd Up + 5th Up)
- High third and seventh (3rd Up + 7th Up)
- Perfect 5th Up and Octave Up
The Intelligent Harmony Machine also generates perfect polyphonic pitch shifts, so the pitch shifts you define apply to chords as well as to individual notes.
A Major/Minor switch so you can choose whether Seconds and Thirds will be major or minor. The following interval selections are available:
- Doubled note
- Perfect 4th Down
- 3rd Down major or minor
- 3rd Up, major or minor
- Perfect 4th Up
- Perfect 5th Up
- 2nd Down major or minor
- 2nd Up major or minor
- Octave Down

In Polyphonic Override mode, you can play individual notes and chords. The 11-position interval selector on the HMI allows you to select the desired harmony.

In momentary mode, the effect is only active when the pedal is pressed. You can choose instantaneous changes or set the time taken for the signal to rise and fall.

The Mix control adjusts the mix between the dry signal and the shifted signal.
