The EV EKX-15P is a 2-way active loudspeaker with a 15" driver and a 1" titanium tweeter. The 1500 watt high-efficiency Class D amplifier, driven by QuickSmartDSP, delivers a maximum SPL of 134 dB via high-sensitivity transducers designed and manufactured by Electro-Voice. All this is housed in a compact wooden enclosure, suitable for a wide range of sound reinforcement scenarios, including mobile musicians/DJs and live/club performances and other fixed sound applications.

The EKX series is the latest member of the Electro-Voice family of portable speakers, combining the legendary quality and reliability of EV sound with the latest technology.
QuickSmartDSP offers best-in-class processing. Easy setup via four presets, sub/top system mapping, three-band EQ, five user-programmable presets, visual limiter status monitoring, input level and meter control, and master volume control for optimised gain structure, all via the LCD display.
With compact, lightweight wooden enclosures, 8 mounting points and a 35mm flange, these speakers are perfect for both mobile and fixed installation applications, while the durable EVCoat finish ensures that EKX speakers sound as good as they look.
Intelligent thermal management, with a variable-speed fan controlled by multiple built-in sensors, ensures superior performance and reliability, even in demanding environmental conditions.
