Electro Voice's compact TX1152FM monitor is equipped with a SMX2121 12" woofer developed with FEA optimisation for the motor, suspension and electrical design to ensure very low distortion, high efficiency and maximum intelligibility at high SPL levels.
The tweeter features a high-efficiency DH3 titanium compression driver with a 1.25" diaphragm, coupled to a 90° x 50° constant directivity waveguide.
The crossover uses very steep slopes of 24dB per octave with equalisation to provide harmonious imaging in the frequency range corresponding to the voice, linear off-axis response and a protection circuit for long-term reliability.
The combination of drivers, cabinet and crossover results in a compact monitor capable of very high sound levels before feedback.
