The 45CSX is an active humbucker pick-up in extended 115 mm format, designed for 6-string basses. With its ceramic and steel magnets, it favours bass and midrange, while softening the treble. The result is a dense, well-articulated sound without excessive brightness. It's a good choice for bassists who like to groove with their fingers, slap with precision, or attack with their picks without sacrificing clarity. The 45CSX maintains good definition in all registers, even when playing fast or complex instruments.
The integrated X Series preamp extends the dynamic range and improves touch sensitivity: the pickup reacts to the slightest detail, without saturation or sound crushing. This is particularly useful for those who alternate between quiet passages and more intense moments.
