EMG - 45TW Splittable Black

The EMG 45TW is a unique solution that produces two very distinct sounds, thanks to its splittable single-coil/humbucker system.

In single-coil mode, it delivers a clear, warm and articulate sound, ideal for bassists who play finger-style, slap-style or are looking for great definition in the notes. This mode emphasises precision and speed, perfect for melodic lines and dynamic grooves.

Switching to humbucker mode brings out more power, with pronounced midrange and enhanced sustain, ideal for more aggressive styles like rock, metal or hard-edged riffs. This change is made very simply via a push/pull potentiometer, so you can quickly adapt the sound to the dynamics of the track without having to change the pick-up.

Its 45 Extended format (115 mm) makes it easy to install on most 6-string basses. Its integrated active preamp boosts the signal for a clear, powerful sound, even when you turn up the volume. Thanks to this technology, you can avoid unwanted noise or interference.

EMG solderless cabling makes installing the microphone a breeze. There's no need to spend hours soldering or checking every connection: you just plug in the cables, and it's ready to go.
