Presentation
The duo of EMG 57/66 TW Brushed Black Chrome pickups gives access to two grains per pickup. The single coil develops a more nervous timbre, while the double coil adds weight to the texture. The magnets (Alnico/steel in the bridge, Alnico/ceramic in the neck) create a real separation of character.
Each push-pull activates a specific mode, without any extraneous noise. The circuit remains stable, even under strong attack. The supply voltage can be as high as 27V DC, with no undesirable loss or saturation. Everything is calibrated to handle a strong signal.
The set includes cables of various lengths (from 14 to 40 cm), to adapt to the routing of each instrument. No soldering iron is required for installation, using the stereo jack supplied. Two dedicated buses handle power and signals.
With its 49 mm format and short axis, this model targets Strat or similar models. The discreet copper logo blends into the brushed chrome. A powerful base for active configuration, designed down to the last detail.

To find out more...
Going from 1.77 kHz to 3.47 kHz with this model balances two different guitars. One shines in the mix, the other anchors the bass effectively.
Progressive metal and post-rock styles benefit from the push-pull modes. Changing texture without touching the floor makes stage transitions more fluid. This changes the order of the tracks depending on the energy required.
You can go from a clear verse to an aggressive chorus. When it comes to microphone height, the balance is subtle. Slightly lowering the neck increases articulation in single mode.
Keeping a moderate distance from the bridge keeps the attack sharp. Each position responds responsively to touch.
