Presentation
The EMG 57-7H is a pickup for modern 7-string guitars. This active model mounts in the bridge position, with a standard 7-string format. It has the same closed look as the MetalWorks series, here in a Black Chrome finish.
The Alnico V magnet combined with steel pole pieces produces a voicing inspired by PAF pickups. The attack remains punchy, with tight midrange and even clarity. The signal remains stable even at high gain, with no parasitic noise.
The kit includes the classic EMG components: Solderless cables, stereo jack, 25K potentiometers. No special tools are required. The whole package is discreet on stage and in the studio.
Battery life exceeds 1500 hours on a 9V battery. The microphone accepts up to 27V for more advanced setups. At 101 mm long, it fits directly onto guitars with 49 mm bridge spacing in Tune-O-Matic format.
