Guitar Microphone
The EMG 57TW Long Shaft Chrome pickup takes an assertive approach with its alnico and steel magnets. Its dual sonic personality changes in a single movement: dense humbucker or incisive single coil. Chrome finish, EMG logo, modern active architecture - this pickup combines neat aesthetics with precise response.

Presentation
The EMG 57TW long-axis Chrome pickup stands out for its attention to detail. Its active structure provides two distinct profiles: a dual-coil mode for powerful textures, and a more articulate single-coil mode with a higher frequency (3.47 kHz). Changeover is via a discreet and reliable push/pull switch.
Thanks to its 52 mm centre-to-centre distance, this model fits seamlessly into Floyd or Fender-type guitars with spaced bridges. The long shaft potentiometer (19 mm) ensures unchanged compatibility with Les Paul-type bodies.
Every component is supplied for rapid installation: solderless wiring, TW connectors, battery cables, stereo jack, clear diagrams and screws and bolts. The power supply can go up to 27V for a wider headroom, with minimal power consumption.
Chrome finish, copper logo, slightly raised casing: the 57TW has something to please both eyes and ears. A microphone designed for serious configurations.

To find out more...
The EMG 57TW Axe Long Chrome combines Alnico and steel. As a result, the bass remains clean in palm mute, even when tuned low.
For a Les Paul, you can group the weights together on a rail. The short cables pass under the push/pull without constraint.
Changing the value of the tone cap modulates the brightness. The volume pot descends more gently than with a passive.
