The EMG 57TW Black pickup is designed for strummers who like to vary textures without changing pickups. Thanks to the built-in push/pull, it switches between a muscular humbucker and a simple, sharp coil. Each retains its own identity, with a specific output voltage and adjusted frequency.
The active circuit features three coils and a mix of Alnico and steel magnets. The result? Reactive dynamics, with no parasitic saturation. Even at high volume, background noise remains contained at -107 dBV.
Its compact size and 28 mm thickness are ideal for guitars with Tune-O-Matic spacing. The 10 mm potentiometer is suitable for Strat or equivalent guitars.
