The EMG 57TW Brushed Chrome pickup isn't here for decoration. Its triple active coil hides two very distinct characters: dense humbucker or simple dry coil. The push/pull switch changes the settings on the fly, without altering the signal.
In dual, it rises to 4.5 V strum, with a controlled frequency of 1.77 kHz. In singles, it's better, at around 3.47 kHz. The whole unit remains stable, with an output impedance of 10 kΩ and noise contained at -107 dBV.
This model fits Strat-type bodies (short potentiometer) and Tune-O-Matic bridges. It can be mounted flat or via the springs included. With its 28 mm height, brushed case and standard spacing, there's nothing to spill out.
All cables included: connectors, bus, jack, battery, detailed instructions. This pickup installs without soldering, adjusts in two gestures and reacts without diversions. It's a sober beast, but far from neutral.
