Guitar Microphone

EMG's 57TW Chrome pickup turns your Strat into a stage beast thanks to its alnico and steel magnets. Triple winding, fast push/pull, stable voltage up to 27V - what more could you ask for? Its chrome casing makes a stylish statement, while its circuitry keeps a cool head. This is a pickup designed to come out clean, with no pretence.

The EMG 57TW pickup in Chrome finish embodies a direct approach. Its push/pull function activates an incisive single mode or a wider double mode. Output voltage follows the rhythm, up to 4.5 V peak, without surge or saturation.

The heart of the microphone is based on a triple-coil construction and Alnico/steel magnets. This hybrid configuration balances attack, sustain and drive. Frequencies remain clean, even when amplified, thanks to the low noise floor.

Power consumption is 160 μA at 9V. It can climb to 27V for those looking for more scope. Autonomy reaches 1500 hours, without deterioration.

When it comes to assembly, there's nothing to solder. The kit contains everything: terminal blocks, TW connectors, 25K push-pull, springs, stereo jack and battery foam. The humbucker format fits into a 49 mm bridge with a short potentiometer body.

This model requires no adaptation. It integrates, responds and pushes straight away.

The EMG 57TW Chrome microphone rises to 4.50V when strummed. This peak gives a good margin before saturation, even at extreme gain.

The stereo output opens two isolated circuits or an active/passive split. You can adapt according to stage, reamping or DI. H1 to H6 terminals simplify set-ups with several microphones.

Each connection finds its place without soldering or doubt. At 28 mm deep, you'll need to adjust the cavity on a domed table.

On a Les Paul, it's best to measure before drilling. This active format requires well thought-out routing.
