Guitar Microphone
Triple coil, hybrid alnico and steel magnets, controlled voltage: the EMG 57TW Floyd Axe long pickup is on a roll. Autonomy climbs to 1,500 hours, even with intensive use. Its active format attaches to a thick body. The integrated switch bridges the gap between roughness and precision.

Presentation
With the 57TW Floyd long-axis pickup in Black, EMG has opened up a whole new world of versatility. Every detail counts: triple coil, integrated push/pull, Alnico/steel magnets, stable voltage. It changes mode with a flick of the wrist: full double coil or single incisive.
The active electronics can handle up to 27V without disturbing the sound balance. The output level varies according to the attack: up to 4.5 V in strum. Its background noise remains contained, even on stage.
This model can be adapted to a Floyd or Fender configuration, thanks to its 52 mm centre distance. Its long shaft potentiometer (19 mm) is ideal for Les Paul-type guitars. Direct or suspended mounting: everything is included in the kit.
Solderless connectors, 25K push-pull, calibrated cables, screws and full schematic: nothing is missing. The 57TW Floyd maintains a solid base, while leaving room for expressive adjustments. A modern solution, designed for those who like to control every nuance.

To find out more...
The long potentiometer on the EMG 57TW Floyd Axe long Black pickup is easy to operate, even when playing standing up.
The volume control remains precise, even when gradually increased. One day, you can invert two masses on purpose, just to test. The result? A slight, unexpected saturation on soft attacks.
This pickup is well-suited to this kind of experimentation. The solderless modularity helps a lot in rehearsals. Changing a cable, a pot, or even reversing a push-pull is a breeze. No need for a soldering station.
It's on stage that this cabling really comes into its own. Nothing stands in the way of last-minute adjustments.
