The EMG 57TW Floyd long-axis pickup Brushed Black Chrome is built around two worlds of sound. In humbucker mode, the voltage rises to 4.5 V. In single mode, the frequency rises to 3.47 kHz for a crisper attack. The push/pull switches these two personalities instantly.
Its three active coils and Alnico/steel combination produce a dense, responsive grain. It remains stable even at 27V, with a power consumption of just 160 μA. Background noise does not exceed -107 dBV.
The 28 mm body fits Floyd bridge guitars without difficulty. The 52 mm string spacing keeps harmonics clean. The 19 mm long shaft potentiometer fits Les Paul bodies.
Everything's included for quick wiring: H1 to H6 connectors, TW cables, stereo jack, battery foam. No soldering iron required. The 57TW Floyd is right on target, with calibrated components and a real personality to spare.
