Presentation
This EMG 57TW Floyd Long Shaft Brushed Chrome pickup is for players who want to stay in control. Its integrated push-pull system lets you change voicing without taking your hands off the instrument. Triple active windings, stable voltage, precise attack: every element pushes you towards effective timbre.
The single mode remains taut and brilliant at 3.47 kHz. The double mode thickens around 1.77 kHz. The output level rises to 4.5 V strum, with no annoying background noise.
The internal structure accepts a power supply of up to 27 volts. The unit consumes very little power, around 160 μA at 9V, with a battery life of well over 1000 hours.
The set contains everything: TW cables, bus, stereo jack, screws, foam, clear diagram. There are no soldering points, so assembly is quick and clean.
This pickup remains stable even in heavy configurations. It supports expressive playing without saturation or artifice. A straightforward solution for changing texture without altering the attack.

In the studio, you can use the left/right split to sculpt the space. The single coil on the left, the double on the right: it's clean. The EMG 57TW Floyd Brushed Chrome evokes a crystalline Strat, not a clattering Tele. This peak at 3.47 kHz adds air to the mix. On double, the bass remains taut, never fuzzy.
As for the midrange, it adds substance. Plugged into a hollowed Dual Rectifier, this model keeps its place. It pushes back saturation rather than drowning in it. No filter crushes its dynamics. This sonic duality serves both the riff and the fine harmonisation.
