Guitar Microphone
The EMG 57TW Floyd Chrome pickup combines triple windings, alnico/steel magnets and an instant switch. The integrated push-pull switches between two different voicings. Voltage rises to 4.5 V in dual mode. Active format, 52 mm spacing, long axis: everything is calibrated for cutting-edge tremolo configurations.

Presentation
The EMG 57TW Floyd Chrome pickup pushes the boundaries of traditional active microphones. This model features three coils, with direct switching between single and double coils. A single push-pull triggers the switch, with no latency or extraneous noise.
The single coil rises to 3.47 kHz, the double coil settles at 1.77. The voltages follow: 2 V under string on the single, 4.5 V on the double strum. Every nuance remains usable without loss of clarity.
Its long axis (19 mm) is suitable for Les Paul-type bodies. The 52 mm spacing is in line with Floyd or Fender bridges. Mounting can be spring-loaded or direct.
All the wiring is included: cables, 25K pots, B245 bus, stereo jack. Installation is simple thanks to the solderless system. Diagrams are also included.
This 57TW Chrome with its hybrid alnico/steel magnets works like two microphones in one. It switches between textures with a consistency that's reassuring live or in the studio.

To find out more...
The EMG 57TW Floyd Chrome makes harmonics more predictable. Even with a Floyd, squeals remain clean and burr-free. At high gain, the triple coil minimises background noise. This creates a more stable base for saturated textures.
Its transient response is surprising in lo-fi or even jazz comping. The hybrid magnet shapes the attack without excess or softness. When buffered, the 10 kΩ impedance keeps its edge. Unbuffered, it gives the amp organic headroom.
This model inspires with every variation. It pushes you to break out of the expected patterns.
