EMG - 60-7 Humbucker Pickup Black

The EMG 60-7 is an active pickup developed for 7-string guitars, with a standard Soapbar format and a dual-coil design. It features ceramic magnets chosen for their clear response and ability to bring out the highs without compromising the overall balance of the spectrum. There's solid bass, well-defined midrange and precise articulation on every string.

This model is based on the classic EMG 60, but adapted to the needs of extended instruments. It's capable of handling both heavy riffs and more detailed passages, thanks in particular to its ability to maintain good definition even in saturated registers. It can be placed in either neck or bridge position, depending on the type of sound you're looking for.

It's powered by a single 9V battery (not included), and its low power consumption means it stays operational for long sessions without having to change the battery too often. Its design limits background noise. It responds well to variations in play, with great dynamics on every attack.

This microphone comes with a complete solderless assembly kit, including all the necessary cables, pots and connectors. It is also compatible with EMG modules such as the SPC, EXG and VLPF.
