The EMG 60-7H Black Chrome pickup turns 7-string guitars into precision machines. Designed for the neck position, this active humbucker is based on narrow coils close to the mini-humbucker format. The result? Full-bodied mids, crystal-clear highs and well-maintained lows.
Its dynamic range is fully expressed, whether in single notes or strumming. Thanks to the ceramic magnets, the microphone delivers a clean attack without ever being aggressive. The extremely low noise figure (-101dBV) reinforces this feeling of control.
Fitted with EMG solderless cabling, it installs quickly. The bundle includes everything you need: 25K potentiometers, cables, screws and stereo jack.
Its low power consumption (80 µA) and voltage tolerance of up to 27V mean it can run for up to 3,000 hours on a 9V battery. Great for long sessions.
