Presentation
The EMG 60-7HA is a pickup that sits on the neck of a 7-string guitar. With its Alnico V magnets, it produces a soft, organic sound rich in harmonics. The tight-coil format is reminiscent of mini-humbuckers, for a more direct, articulate response.
The attack remains controlled, without aggression, even at high volume. It responds well to both single notes and wide chords. The 10 kΩ impedance and very low noise floor (-100 dBV) give a clean response, even in complex configurations.
The complete EMG kit is solderless. All components are supplied: 25K pots, cables, screws, stereo jack and battery bus. No special tools are required for installation.
The low power consumption (80 µA) guarantees up to 3,000 hours of operation with a 9V battery. This model also tolerates up to 27V, for those who want to boost their signal. Manufactured in the USA, it is compatible with all existing EMG active modules.
