The EMG 60-7XH Chrome pickup is designed for 7-string guitars and aims for clarity in the neck position. With its ceramic magnets, it delivers a brilliant attack and a natural sound, which is advantageous for a variety of styles. The coils are closer together for better articulation.
This model has a low output impedance (2 kΩ) and a very low noise level (-107 dBV), for a clean response with no noise. Voltage in isolated notes reaches 3 V, while in scratch tuning it rises to 8 V, guaranteeing dynamic range.
Installation is straightforward, thanks to the EMG system with cables and VLPF volume and active tone potentiometers. A stereo jack and battery bus simplify connection. The microphone supports a maximum voltage of 27 volts.
