EMG - 60-8 Humbucker Pickup White

The EMG 60-8 is an active humbucker designed specifically for 8-string electric guitars. Its special feature is its narrow-aperture coils, similar to those of a mini-humbucker. They incorporate ceramic magnets for brilliant attack and sonic clarity. With a good level of output, this pickup produces a perfect balance between a strong midrange, thick bass and crystal-clear treble, allowing every note to be heard, even in the fastest passages.

The 60-8 is often used in the neck position, where it delivers a warm, detailed sound, but it can also be placed on the bridge for a more incisive sound. This pickup is equally suited to blues, rock or metal styles, thanks to its ability to produce sounds as varied as they are precise, from warm blues rhythms to powerful rock crunches.
