The EMG 60-8H Chrome is a pickup that focuses on precision in the neck position. Designed for eight strings, it emphasises a chiselled attack, made possible by a ceramic magnet and reduced coil spacing. The tone retains a natural openness, without becoming too dry.
This model proves convincing in a variety of contexts. Rhythmic crunch remains legible, and bluesy tones retain their depth. Its output voltage adapts to different dynamics, whether you're playing softly or loudly.
It can be integrated into any EMG setup thanks to its full compatibility. It includes two microphone cables, a power bus, four connectors and dedicated potentiometers. The whole unit can be fitted without soldering.
