The EMG 60X Black Chrome pickup takes a modern approach to the active humbucker. Designed for simple installation, it requires no ground wires. Cables with quick connectors make installation intuitive.
Under the bonnet is a precise and stable ceramic magnet. The resonant frequency of 2.28 kHz provides good midrange balance. The dynamic range is wide, thanks to an output voltage of up to 8 volts. Even at high volumes, the microphone remains silent, with a noise level of -107 dB.
It comes with a 25K active pot and VLPF tonal control. Everything is designed for modern setups, with power consumption reduced to 80 µA. It accepts up to 27 volts DC, for those who prefer doubled configurations.
