The EMG 60X Chrome is an active humbucker designed for modern expression. It combines extremely low noise with a punchy dynamic response. With its ceramic magnets, it's designed for Strat-style necks and installs effortlessly with the included cables.

For guitars with high demands, the EMG 60X Chrome pickup imposes its style. This active device has a straightforward character, with a direct grain. The ceramic magnet provides balanced density, without excess or hollows.
The heart of the system is based on a stable output voltage. It delivers up to 8 volts on strong attack, and 3 volts on sustained notes. The 2 kΩ output impedance boosts the signal, even in complex chains.
Thanks to its solder-free construction, everything installs neatly. The cables supplied cover all connections: power, pots, jack and Pickup Buss distribution. Foam insulation stabilises the battery to prevent unwanted noise.
Its standard size and short potentiometer are ideal for Strat-type guitars. It works with all active EMG pickups for consistent wiring. The chrome front panel contrasts with the logo: a stylish visual choice.
