The EMG 60X Red is an active neck pickup with a strong magnetic field thanks to its ceramic magnet. The result? A clean attack, controlled density and stable definition in saturation.
Its output voltage reaches 8 volts when played intensively. This gives a wide and immediate dynamic range, with no smearing.
Background noise remains low, measured at -107dB. Chords retain their clarity even at high gain.
As for installation, no soldering wire is required. Cables with quick-fit connectors make for neat, reversible assembly.
With its standard 49 mm spacing, it fits on most Tune-O-Matic bridges.
The 9V battery guarantees up to 3,000 hours of operation. A full pack of accessories makes integration easy, including the VLPF and Pickup Buss. Its intense red design and grey logo add a radical touch to any guitar.
