No more fiddling with a soldering iron, the EMG 66-7H Neck Chrome microphone clips on in just a few minutes. Everything is in the box: cables, connectors, screws. Once in place, it's completely silent, even at high volume. The Alnico V does the rest.

The EMG 66-7H Neck Chrome pickup ticks all the boxes for touring or on set. No background noise, no mass to connect. It installs without iron, fits in the mix and handles the road. It's solid, but not heavy (approx. 120 g).
Its Alnico V delivers plenty of fat without drowning out the rest. The top end of the spectrum remains clean, even on stereo racks. The midrange is right where it should be, so as not to drown everything in bass.
It operates on 9V or 18V, depending on the headroom required. Want more headroom? Switch to 18. Prefer tighter saturation? Stay with 9.
Assembly is quick, so there's no stress. Everything is supplied, even the little internal cables. It fits into all the classic humbucker formats. Once in place, it won't budge.
A good pickup if you want an active neck ready for the stage and complex set-ups.
