The EMG 66TW microphone stands out for its hybrid system, which makes it easy to switch between two types of sound thanks to an integrated push-pull.
It combines alnico and ceramic magnets, producing a sound that is both clear and powerful. In humbucker mode, it offers a clean attack and good saturation, suitable for styles such as rock and light metal. In single-coil mode, the sound becomes more open, with precise highs, ideal for funk, blues or jazz fusion.
Running on 9 volts, it consumes little power and has a low noise level. This pickup is slightly larger than standard models, so it's important to check the space available before installing it. This pickup is ideal for guitarists who like to alternate between different sounds without having to change guitars.
Even without being an electronics expert, you can install this pickup easily thanks to its solderless circuit, which avoids complex soldering and wiring errors.
