The EMG 66TW mic produces two distinct sounds to suit a variety of styles. In humbucker mode, it delivers a warm, powerful sound, perfect for rock, hard rock or light metal. In single-coil mode, the sound becomes clearer and more dynamic, ideal for funk, blues or jazz. Switching between these two modes is easy thanks to the built-in push-pull system, without interrupting your playing.
Designed for Stratocaster guitars, this model features a 19 mm long-axis potentiometer for thicker necks.
This pickup is slightly thicker than a conventional humbucker, so it's important to check compatibility with your guitar's cavity before you buy.
