The EMG 707 pickup has been specially designed to meet the needs of 7-string guitarists. Its main advantage is that it solves the frequent problem of a fuzzy sound on the Low B string, thanks to its large coils and Alnico V magnets. The result is a powerful yet precise low end, with no loss of clarity in the treble.
Whether you're playing heavy, tight riffs or more melodic arpeggios, the 707 remains balanced and responsive. In the bridge position, it adds bite to rhythms, perfect for modern metal or djent. In the neck position, it provides more smoothness and definition, ideal for solos and clean passages.
