The EMG 707X pickup is specially designed for 7-string guitars and tackles the common problem of fuzzy bass on the lowest string.
In the bridge position, it produces a clean, precise attack, which is ideal for fast, technical riffs, particularly in styles such as djent, progressive metal or modern metal.
In the neck position, it delivers a more balanced, clear and defined sound, perfect for solos and melodic passages that require finesse.
The integrated X Series preamp adds a natural dynamic range, without over-compressing the sound, so that your playing remains dynamic and responsive.
Installation is simple, thanks to solderless cabling, which makes replacement easy for guitarists, even those with no experience of electronics. What's more, this pickup is compatible with EMG accessories such as the VLPF, EXG, SPC and RPC, as well as all other pickups in the EMG range.
