No need for soldering - the Solderless system allows the pickup to be plugged in directly, for quick, no-fuss set-up.

The EMG 81-7H exploits the full potential of a 7-string guitar thanks to its ceramic and steel magnets.
On the bridge, it favours fast riffs, precise palm mutes and chiselled leads, while on the neck, it delivers fluid sustain and softer attacks.
Suitable for modern metal, technical death and djent, it retains remarkable clarity even with complex drop-tuned chords.
Its 3 V output voltage (up to 4.5 V for intense playing) and 10 kΩ impedance produce a powerful signal with no extraneous noise, thanks to a noise level measured at -100 dB.
The microphone is supplied with a complete kit and the EMG Solderless circuit, for easy installation or replacement without a soldering iron. Combined with an EMG 85-7H or 60-7H, it lets you explore an even wider range of sounds, from heavy rhythmics to melodic leads.
Available here in black, it is also available in other colours.
