Presentation
Specially designed for 7-string guitarists with a penchant for shredding and technical playing, the EMG 81-7XH features a clean attack and fluid sustain. Its ceramic and steel magnets with an X Series preamp provide greater responsiveness and sensitivity, ideal for fast legato shots, tapping or sweeping. Even at high gain, every note remains clear and distinct thanks to the dual-coil design and 1.72 kHz resonant frequency.
In the bridge, it brings out the highs without becoming aggressive and maintains a solid bass base, perfect for singing solos.
Installation is made easy thanks to the Solderless system, so you can adapt its configuration to suit your needs. Supplied complete with potentiometers, cabling and stereo jack, it's ready to install on any 7-string guitar.
With low noise and high output voltage, it ensures a stable response on stage and in the studio. Available in black chrome and other finishes to match your instrument.
