Its natural sustain gives body to long notes without drowning them out.
This pickup supports drop-tuning chords, much used in these styles, and maintains solid clarity and definition, even at low frequencies. Its high output makes it easy to break into a busy mix, while remaining balanced.
The VLPF active tone pot included in the kit reduces the treble gradually, without sacrificing dynamics. This function helps to adjust the brilliance of the sound, so that you can go from a sharp sound to a rounder one, depending on the context.
