The EMG 81-7XH is designed for 7-string guitarists who prefer melodic, technical playing, typical of djent, progressive metal, fusion rock or symphonic metal. Thanks to its ceramic and steel magnets and X Series preamp, it accurately reproduces every nuance of your playing. Fine harmonics come through clearly, as do the light attacks that are essential in progressive and fusion styles.
This pickup provides fluid sustain, ideal for making long notes sing and facilitating transitions between fast passages. Its clarity makes it possible to distinguish every note, even in the most complex parts.
